Carolyn Chipman Evans will come and talk to us. Ms. Evans is the driving force behind the creation of the Cibolo Nature Center just northwest of San Antonio. This wonderful resource includes 100 acres of trails and wilderness in the hill country. It also happens to be the former home of Dr. Ferdinand Herff, a German pioneer surgeon who made significant contributions to Texas history and medicine. Come and hear about both the interesting history tied to the preserve and how you can interact with the beautiful nature surrounding this gem.
